Steelers Invited to National Team Camp

Four Pacific Steelers alumni were named to the 2004-05 Women's Under-22 National Team Selection Camp.

Invited to the camp were:

Shelby Aldous -- Aldous played on the Pacific Steelers for the 2001 SASHA Tournament, the 2001, 2002, and 2003 NASH SuperSeries. Since playing for the Steelers in 2001, Shelby has gone on to make Team Ontario for Canada Winter Games, and will be attending Ohio State next year on a full ride scholarship.

Alycia Matthews -- Matthews played on the Pacific Steelers for the 2002 NASH SuperSeries, and 2004 Esso Nationals.  She is the youngest player to be invited to this year’s U-22 Camp.

Tia Hanson -- Hanson played on the Pacific Steelers for the 2001 NASH SuperSeries. Since playing for the Steelers in 2001, Hanson subsequently made the Calgary Xtreme team.

Christine Hartnoll -- Hartnoll played on the Pacific Steelers for the 2003 NASH SuperSeries. Hartnoll played last year with McGill.
