Brampton Tournament

Brampton, Ontario -- The Pacific Steelers played some of the top teams in Ontario at the Brampton Canadettes Tournament Easter Weekend.  The Steelers advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament’s Intermediate AA Division, before being downed by the Durham West team 2-0.  The Durham West team had previously tied the Team Quebec U18 team that won a silver medal at the U-18 Challenge in Salmon Arm.

The Steelers advanced to the semi-finals after a 2-0 win over the Chatham Outlaws, a 4-2 win over the Etobicoke Dolphins and a 2-1 loss to the Brampton Jr. Thunder.

The Brampton Jr. Thunder finished 2nd in the Provincial Women's Hockey League (Elite Intermediate AA) considered to be the most competitive Minor Female Hockey in the World).
